Hi there!

Thank you for the welcome! Addicted to the show as 2 years ago, i bought season 4 on vhs as it was a bargain-then i got hooked! False economy as had to buy all i could get my hands on! Very excited when i found out there was forum dedicated to it! How long have you been watching? Have since replaced them all on dvd, you've got to haven't you?!

You certainly do. I've been a fan of Frasier since around 1995 but I did watch Cheers in the 80's too (although ironically I never thought much of Frasier's character back then!)

I had all the VHS releases too - I was heartbroken when we sold them in a car boot sale for a pittance!

not a quote of a drink. but I loved coffee ordering in My coffee with Niles - when he never quite gets what he asks for!

He asks her to go through today's specials and he has reason for not ordering. Brazillian she offers, not happy with their policy towards the rainforest he replies, she offers Costa Rican - not happy with their policy on blah blah, he responds ... eventually she offers him Hawaiin ... unless they've slaughtered too many macadamia nuts!!

and when he asks the sparky waitress where his drink is she says "we've got a team of experts on it!!"

but going back to the flashback scene in "You Can Go Home" he berrates Niles for ordering fancy coffee and hopes he never sees the day when a good cup of American coffee isn't good enough for him ... ahhh Frasier - such a slave to trend!

Great episode, love that scene. I also like Niles's "Double fat, half caff, no foam latte"! (or whatever it was meant to be).

20 year old scotch for Roz. That was funny when she poured it down the drain and Frasier just had a perfect look on his face.

Frasier- Pear Liquor, of course that was in Cheers, when Diane was meeting Hester. (Of course I would never have remembered this if it hadn't been on last night. :D )

Eggnog with a dash of paprika.

Frasier,"Dad, you not going to drink that that way are you?"
Martin, "Why?"
Frasier,"Oh my goodness the first mistake in eggnog preperation is failing to garnish it properly with a dash of nutmeg." (Sprinkles) "There we go."
Martin takes a drink and starts gagging.
Frasier,"Of course the second mistake is placing the paprika next to the nutmeg on the spice shelf."

Niles: "Double decaf non-fat latte, medium foam, dusted with just the faintest whisper of cinnamon."

And when the coffee arrives:
"I very clearly asked for a whisper of cinnamon and he's given me a full-throated shout! There are countries in this world where they would lop off his sprinkling hand!"

Oh, how I adore this programme!

Pouilly Fuisse got my attention after hearing Frasier talking about it. I just had to buy some and I loved it. I plan on having it on holidays especially.

"Double latte, full fat, chocolate shavings." Make sure the chocolate is imported, domestic brand is too waxy.

The one at the "Timber Lodge" or whatever? I've seen that one. Pretty funny.

I think that's the ONLY time Frasier ever orders a machiatto.
