The Packer defense packed up and went home after Rodgers got hurt. I guess they figured since the offense can't score, they don't have to work either.

Pretty sure the bloody Cowboys have finished both of mine and Ben's incredibly slim hopes. You need Rodgers fit as soon as possible, Cat!

I think i'll try to pick up tickets for the Raiders/Dolphins Wembley game next September. Go on sale in a couple of weeks.

We can still finish 9-7, I haven't given up hope yet! Seriously, I think I knew we weren't going anywhere near the play-offs as early as week 1. :)

Sorry Benny but I'm still

And how 'bout Tony Romo doing what Tony Romo does best! Game blowing INT anyone?

Tony Romo's 10 most heartbreaking losses    I particularly enjoyed numbers 1,4,5 and 8. As for our game, I didn't see any of it and have no desire to watch it at all. :)

I really should have some sort of "like" for Tony Romo and I should hope he does well because he's from my home state and grew up not too far from where I live but I just can't muster any like for him at all. He has always been overrated and he believes his own hype way too much.

Go Seahawks? :D

Tickets touts are a scandal for the UK games. The event organisers set the system up perfectly for people to exploit it though.

Don't know much about NFL but I put my money on Seahawks (because Frasier) and it paid off nicely. Thank You Seattle.

:thumbright:

The Frasier link may have had a bearing on me supporting them against most teams outside of my hopeless Raiders, but i can't stand the Broncos at the best of times. So, I was hoping to see Denver lose, but the way they were pummelled into the turf was almost painful. Poor old Peyton. :D

I've been a Seahawks fan for years but became even more so when they drafted Russell Wilson. (On Wisconsin!) I also can't stand Forehead Omaha Manning. Though I like him more than I like his brother; Eli the Interception Machine.

I never liked the Mannings. Both are awful when they are under pressure!!! Not as bad as Tony Romo whose is a complete IDIOT!!!!!

Last night's win makes me wish Frasier was still on. I would've loved seeing a episode honoring the Seahawks beating the Donkeys.

 I think you'll find his name is Eli "the Elite" Manning. Well he does have 1 more ring than Omaha. :D

By "Elite" do you mean really good at throwing to the other team? :D

He's got more rings than Dan Marino too and I certainly wouldn't call him a better QB than Marino!

 Yes, that's exactly what I mean. It makes me laugh when people bring up the argument that a QB must have a Super Bowl ring/s to be an elite Quarterback. They're basically saying Trent Dilfer is a better QB than Marino, Boomer Esiason, Warren Moon etc. I don't think so. :)

Mike Carlson, on the C4 coverage, constantly makes the same point about the stupidity of such arguments, yet it's all people seem to love to ask him about. Dan Marino is the perfect example of how silly it is to base it on the number of rings won.

I think it's objectively reasonable to class Peyton as the better QB than Eli. I'm fairly neutral towards him but recognise he's in the top bracket of talent. I'd probably stick him in there with Rodgers, Brees and Brady. Eli a little further down, with the likes of Roethlisberger.

Amusing to see people hammering Peyton because of the Superbowl debacle, though. The rest of the season suddenly became an irrelevant display of his abilities. He had a full team on the pitch equally bolloxing it up against a very good Seahawks defence
