This episode (or should I say Niles' part) was the funniest thing I have ever seen! I was watching it my myself and laughed so hard I had tears. My daughter even came in from the other room to see what was so funny. The rest of the episode was ok, but Niles was a scream! |

Niles's part is a scream. A bit of slapstick in Frasier is good, and David Hyde Pierce is fabulous |

I have been renting the Frasier episodes and watching them one by one in hopes of seeing this episode again. I never could remember what season it was but always remembered the scene with Niles doing a silent slapstick as being hilarious.
I liked all three separate scenes with the cast. It just shows how independent they are in bringing out good comedy.
The scene with Niles had me laughing so hard the first time I saw it that I wished I had taped it. At the time of watching it I never knew that one day I would be able to see it again via DVD. I love technology, keep advancing.
My favorite quote from the show was with Frasier and Roz talking on the phone as Frasier needed reassurance with the success of his date. Every line by Roz in this episode was funny but this line was the funniest.
Frasier: Maybe she just wants me up here to talk about business. I just wish I could get one clear unambiguous sign.
Roz: Okay she ditched her dress and she's hitting the sauce. What do you need, runway lights on the mattress?

I only saw this episode recently as I have been recording the repeated episodes currently been shown on channel 4. There are so many episodes I have yet to see but I saw the above episode whilst feeling rather low and I cried and cried, with tears of laughter. What a tonic....what a show.....I will never tire of watching the repeated shows of Frasier.
Brilliant writing, brilliant casting, brilliant timing! |

I heard about this episode on the radio. The DJ said that the first 10 minutes was so funny and there wasn't any dialogue. Well, I had to see for myself. From that episode on...I began to watch Fraiser. I could watch this episode over and over and still LMAO!
Happy Valentines 2 ya all. |

The sketch with Niles ironing his trousers is magical and a fine example of slapstick comedy at its best, rarely seen on TV today! |

It takes a lot to make me laugh out loud but this episode, I remember, did just that! I was in a room alone; husband was in the shower. I laughed so hard that tears were streaming down my cheeks. JUST HAD TO SHARE IT WITH MY HUSBAND as soon as he was out of shower. Was STILL laughing when I repeated what had transpired while Niles was pressing his pants; it was just too funny! |

This is absolutely one of my all-time Frasier episodes. Niles deserved an Emmy Award just for his performance in the opening scene! Fabulous!!! |
