FINAL EPISODE FROM SEASON 5 AND WE GET OUR FIRST LOOK AT THE NEW STATION MANAGER,THE EVER RELIABLE KENNY.BULLDOG AND GIL CHESTERTON ALSO APPEAR,ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO SEE. FRASIER IS OUT TO FIGHT FOR HIS PRINCIPLES RESULTING IN EVERYONE GETTING FIRED FROM KACL IN FAVOUR OF AN ALL LATINO MUSIC FORMAT.I DID ENJOY FRASIER DOING A RUNNER AND LEAVING DAPHNE AT A PROTEST RALLY AND SHOUTING SOLIDARITY BROTHERS AS HE SCARPERS.ALL IN ALL A PLEASENT WAY TO END SEASON 5,THOUGH YOU ARE LEFT WONDERING WHERE THE SERIES WILL GO AFTER THE REALIZATION THAT FRASIER JUST CONVINCED OWNER OF KACL JOE MARTIN TO DITCH TALK RADIO. |

The last episode of Season 5 sees Frasier wondering if he's lost the will to fight for his principles after he runs away from the police at a sit-down protest about the closing of a bookstore at which Daphne is arrested, leading him to take a stand against reading out commercials on his radio show. Although similar ground was ground covered in 'Selling Out' and this is superior to that Season 1 episode, it's somewhat disappointing for a season finale. The funniest bits here are Frasier's radio speech being cut off after he reveals 'I am not a man...' and the wonderful Latino version of 'Tossed Salad And Scrambled Eggs' which plays over the end credits. Kenny's first appearance on the show is perhaps the most notable thing about this episode which concludes with the cliffhanger of the KACL staff geting fired, making for a sudden ending to what has been yet another excellent season of 'Frasier'. |
