New Spoiler Tags button

Postby Stu » Sun Apr 22, 2007 10:33 am

In response to some concerns about having no way of hiding spoilers, I've installed a spoiler button MOD which appears as one of the buttons in the posting box.

It's used just as the other bold, italic etc buttons are - it has a spoiler tag to open it and a /spoiler tag to close it.

Should produce something like:
this
If anyone gets any problems with it not displaying correctly etc, please use this thread to let me know.

Frasier: I suppose the situation you're in is that you'd like to stay with Maris but you'd like an affair with Daphne
Niles: Yes. Can I do that?
Frasier: No, you can't!

Heh, Heh, nice one Paul!

Great idea Stuart, hopefully the ending of Usual Suspects with remain a mystery to those who have yet to view it. 8-)

Plus I can possibly use it during my more heated moments, to save innocent eyes! :D

Thanks for the positive response so far :)

I've slightly altered the colour of the spoiler section from black to light grey to make it slightly less harsh and more in keeping with the tone of the site.

Hopefully this is a positive change, but if people find it harder to read / cope with, let me know, and I'll see if I can find a more suitable colour.

Woody: Pour you a beer, Mr. Peterson?

Norm: Alright, but stop me at one. Make that one-thirty.

Now it's even better: the black was a bit harsh to look at.

It doesn't appear to work in the 'topic review' section on the reply screen - any way of fixing this?

Yep, you're right Wezzo, it doesn't display properly on the topic review section :(

I'll have to go away and see if I can get that fixed
