What's the nicest thing Frasier ever did for somebody?

What's the nicest thing Frasier ever did for somebody?

I've thought about this for a long time, as these little caring moments are what makes us forgive Frasier for all his glaring shortcomings.
The nicest thing Frasier has done may well be having the choir sing "She's Such A Groovy Lady" at the funeral at the end of "Martin Does It His Way",
Season 3, Episode 3.

It was a way to make his dad's dreams come true, while giving the woman they never got a long with, a loving send off.

Really nice thing to do and it warmed my heart, a rare thing for Frasier to accomplish.

I thought about that one too. Seeing right through them and speaking out , risking a huge rift between him and Niles for the unforseeable future, then speaking to Donny, etc.

Do you mean at the party, when Frasier sees the way Daphne and Niles look at each other?
If so, you're right, that might be the top.

Yes, that's what I meant. And I don't agree with tenpercenter that this was not very risky, I think it could have been disastrous for the Frasier/Niles relationship.

Rebuilding Martin's chair has to be on this list, most expensive piece of furniture in the apartment? I doubt that, it would mean it cost more than the Eames ($2500-$5000), and the Chanel couch which would be $15000-$20,000 according to

I'm guessing the new chair custom built cost a few grand though.

Tackling the trumpet blower in season 9 was pretty good.

Not the nicest, but a nice thing is Frasier helping the pregnant daughter and her waiter boyfriend when it all kicks off in the French restaurant during Adventures In Paradise.

That was a good show of his compassion to young love, it's not the only time he's done this. He does it with Niles and daphne, with the waiter and the girl, and with his cousin and the juggler.

for me, whenever i watch the episode where he tells bob that he has a problem with his wheelchair/disability and looks bad in front of a full cafe nervosa was a really kind and self-sacrificing thing to do, even if it wasn't intended to be over-heard by all.

Yes, the wheelchair guy was the real jerk in that scene. The irony here is that the only reason Frasier put up for so long with this invasive silly hat wearing barbecue obsessed bore is precisely the wheelchair. There's nothing more annoying than these people who just can't take a hint.

 The one that comes to mind first is when he was rushing to get to his "day" at the Space Needle, but then focused on the problems of the guy who had stopped to give him a lift.

I know he's done a lot of nice things over the years for his friends and family, but that scene really showed how much compassion he had for total strangers.
