Goodnight, Seattle Part II 9/10

I actually prefer the first part of Goodnight, Seattle but it's still a great series finale.

The Good Son 8/10

Space Quest 9.5/10

Oh what fresh hell is this?

Beloved Infidel 7/10

I'm not real fond of this episode. Not sure why though. Part of it is because I find it hard to believe that Martin didn't know Lilith had an affair. I realize Martin and Frasier didn't get along but it still seems unlikely to me that he wouldn't know that.

The Crucible was on before Beloved Infidel. I turned the channel as soon as I knew which episode it was. I hate The Crucible almost as much as I hate A New Position for Roz!

I don't find that hard to believe - my parents to this day don't know about my ex's affair... That was over 10 years ago!

Last ep I watched was Dad Loves Sherry, The Boys Just Whine 6/10

Not my favourite as it is clear that Sherry was just created as a foil to Frasier/Niles, and I found her character a little shallow and not very well rounded

Maybe it's not that hard to believe but that episode still bugs me. :dontknow:

Interesting. That's one of the most loved episodes around here. Sherry is so much more like Martin than any of the other women he ever dated. I loved her. I wouldn't have wanted Martin to marry her because too much of her would have been too much but I still loved her.

Frasier Crane's Day Off 10/10

Chemically enhanced Frasier rules!

My Coffee With Niles 8/10

I don't love this one as much as a lot of people seem to. I enjoy it enough but there are a few S1 episodes that I prefer over it.

Adventures in Paradise I and II 9.6/10

Put down that mango my dear. It's time to taste the forbidden fruit!

And one of my favorite lines of the entire series: My god woman, I'd drive a stake through your heart but I don't think anything could kill you!

The big ending from that great first season. A true dichotomy for me..

I have never nailed my colours to the mast over this episode; the script is just fine, the acting sublime. However, the punch from the preceeding episodes is lacking in my view, and yet it delivers in bucketloads with pointers to the forthcoming series via the sparkling script and ideas within. Converted? Maybe.

There have been many great episodes over the eleven years but one of top favourites is the last episode, goodnight seattle maybe not for the many laughs but due to its one of the very few episodes of any series where I shed a Ickle tear every time I watch it. For some giggles I like the episode where they go to an exclusive new Health club but they want more an more, which leads to Niles being dressed like a mummy and hopping to avoid bees.
