I love Rooms With a View.

The mismatched accents of the brothers. Why do they all have cockney accents, while Daphne and her mother are both Manchester? The writers of Frasier are obviously fairly clued up about the UK which makes this anomaly quite bizarre.
Her mother. She was obviously intended to be an irritating character. But I never warmed to her as I did with Bulldog. Millicent Martin's comedy timing didn't match that of the rest of the cast either.

Yes! Thank you! I agree with this completely.
Why do daphne's brothers have cockney accents? This baffles me.
And in terms of what annoys me about the show... Daphne's mother. That's it.

But I totally agree about the accents of the brothers, and one other thing, Antony Lapaglia's performance is utter hell. Ruins every episode he's in. It's painful when any of Daphne's family turn up but he is the worst character, totally unbelievably played in an awful, awful performance.
