I think Dark Side Of The Moon is maybe my favourite of those.

Some of the worse ones, imo, are Big Crane On Campus, Something About Doctor Mary, Hot Pursuit and The Dog That Rocked The Cradle.

I think i'll go with Big Crane On Campus as there's nothing i can particularly recall standing out from it.

 I like every one of those episodes!

Ah well, i've realised while going back over these first seven seasons that there's hardly anything that i really find too bad to watch - which isn't bad going for a comedy show. I still think this is the weakest season of 1-7 but there's nothing i outright hate here. I can't think of anything outstanding in Big Crane On Campus, but it's ages since i remember seeing it last.

I think part of the reason I like Big Crane on Campus is because of Jean Smart. I like her in almost everything I see her in. Plus, there are some great lines in that episode. Going to bed with the Prom Queen and waking up with Carrie cracks me up every time.

I do remember the repeating 'put your brother on the phone' line, which is pretty funny. Maybe i might change it already! I'll dig out the episode to watch tomorrow.

Give it a rewatch and see what you think. Don't go by me though because as is well documented, I tend to like a few of the shows that others dislike quite a bit!

I'm quite looking forward to teh re-watch I have planned later this year (should my Cheers torrents ever come down - I plan to watch the shows back to back) as it's now quite a while since I've seen S7. I still think S6 and S7 are both weaker than the first 5 seasons but I prefer S6 as it has many more high points than S7 which feels a bit flat with many episodes feeling like re-hashes of earlier, better ones.

I'm quite tempted to say bollocks to Cheers and just start a full Frasier re-watch straight away. Talking about the eps again on these old threads has put me in the mood.

BEST - Out With Dad. Makes me howl with laughter.

WORST - The Dog That Rocks the Cradle. Never overly keen on the character of Bulldog, and to see him take up so much of an episode was not good.

Season's Best - Honourable mentions to They're Playing Our Song, Out With Dad and The Dark Side Of The Moon but I'm picking Father Of The Bride. It was Frasier at his pompous best, Niles unknowingly dating a prostitute was priceless and Daphne refreshingly standing up to Frasier - but more than that, it kept me laughing through the whole show.

Season's Worst - Rivals was a highly unrealistic mess, The Dog That Rocks The Cradle was pretty uncomfortable viewing, but I'm going for a rather well-liked episode here, RWDRER. The premise was great, but there were no laughs whatsoever. Martin doing his Austin Powers impressions were cringeworthy and the scenes with the old couple in the winnebago were tedious.

That line is actually from Life of the Party in S5.
