My uncle was in an episode...

Postby mraley » Tue Oct 23, 2007 3:27 am

My uncle was in an episode of Frasier, playing a cop who arrested him, but I am unsure as to what episode it was. If someone with a bit more knowledge of the show would like to help me out, his name is Tom Raley.

Thanks!

The only ep I can think of where Frasier is actually arrested is S6's The Good Samaritan but your uncle doesn't show in the credits. I'm assuming you gave us his real name rather than his character name on Frasier?

Just thought, Frasier does get arrested at the end of S2's Fool Me Once... and S6's The Seal Who Came To Dinner but he's not in the credits there either.

There may be more I haven't thought of, now I mention it.

Well, I'm stumped. I checked every episode with a police officer and nothing...

The Good Samaritan and The Seal Who Came to Dinner were all I could think of. Daphne gets arrested in Sweet Dreams and of course, Frasier gets pulled over in Police Story but that's by a female cop.

They also get pulled over in Travels With Martin.
This is the STUPIDEST day I've ever had!

I checked the entire series via imdb and nothing. He didn't have a stage name you forgot to mention?

there do seem to be a number of uncredited performances in the shows though, so he was maybe one of those.

I'm sure if we had a more specific bit of info regarding his role we'd be able to pick him out...

I suppose mraley may be able to pick him out from some screen caps if they were posted - but i'm not going to bother doing that until i see him return to post on the board/thread.

Just to be a nosey git, mraley... Is there any particular reason you couldn't simply ask your uncle which episode it was? I'd be certain he'd remember.

Or just some dialogue - we'd definitely get it then, unless it ended up on the cutting room floor - but we could always trawl the extensive DVD extras for deleted scenes....oh, wait a minute....

What about "I hate Frasier Crane"? I know he doesn't actually get arrested but...

No, that guy (Harry) was credited as John Brandon.

Good call though. Frasier did have one or two brushes with 'Larry Law' didn't he!
