Roz and the Schnoz

Did you know that that episode's title references a Batfink villain, Roz the Schnozz?

It's one of the few references not found on this very useful page: http://www.geocities.com/goodnightseattle/eptitles.htm

That's a great page, shame the site's dead. I used that to find the explanation for the Agents in America Part III ep title some time ago, as it always confused me...

I used that site too. Very handy. Do you mean dead as in not getting updated anymore?

Yeah, the last time I looked on the 'latest news' section it still had a picture of Moose with with 'Rest in Peace' underneath...and that was about 3 months ago!

Quite a while ago actually. He wasn't even "Eddie" the last couple of years of Frasier. His son, Enzo was Eddie.

Aw I didn't know that. Though thinking about it I shouldn't be surprised given that the show ran for 11 years

What season did Enzo take over? Can you tell?

Heya'

GNS was a good Site.

I still have that Layout of Frasier's Apt.
The layout's very well done but brings up the overall question the show itself brings up, --When Niles was fooling around with the kite, How did it land on Martin's Balcony? Did it fly over the roof to the other side, or was Martin's room along the the front of the building.
(Of course I know that these are just sets that are adjusted to fit the scripts and have no true actual placement .)
Another question I personally have though. Frasier has said now and again. "...Elliot Bay Towers, on the counter balance."
What's a counter balance?

--Sideline--
ouroboros!
Too cool!
I'm a big E. I. fan myself. :D
next line is something along "And squirrels must go 'F%^#@&&% NUTS!! How I long for a grapefruit!'".

I think Enzo took over in S9 but I'm not certain. I've never really looked close enough to see if you can tell the difference.

Enzo's hair is shorter, which makes him look well-manicured and more 'sleek'. You'll notice that Moose is a much more ruffled kind of dog.

Another question I personally have though. Frasier has said now and again. "...Elliot Bay Towers, on the counter balance."
What's a counter balance?

I've also always wondered about this so googled it. Unlike the Elliot Bay Towers it seems the Counterbalance is real - to quote something I found accompanying a video drive around Seattle it is:
"an extremely steep section of Queen Anne Avenue N. known as the Counterbalance, in memory of the cable cars that once ran up and down it."

If you find the link to the AOL video, you too can spend 9 minutes driving down the Counterbalance and then round downtown Seattle! Isn't the internet amazing!

Good thing Al Gore invented it!

I've driven on the "real" Counterbalance. Well, my friend drove, I rode but it's kind of fun.

Thank you very much McAllister sister.

I kinda' get what you mean. It's not so much a part of a building, but the location of the side of the building your living on. kinda' like San Fran. With It's hills, and which way the side you live on is pointing. Well, your answer has been closer than anything I came up with.
I honestly had no idea what He meant!
Thanx so much, and BTW, really nice to meet you. :)
