Episode Synopsis

Dealing with the aftermath of 'Sleeping With The Enemy', Frasier is beginning to think that things are moving too quickly with Kate and he should tell her this. However, while filling in for 'The Happy Chef' on KACL, Kate arrives in the studio just after Frasier has sent Roz home early to tell him that she thinks they should slow down. Frasier is relieved, but the ensuing conversation involves them describing themselves as a 'bad boy' and a 'dirty girl'. This leads to their passion engulfing them again and they are soon at it on the studio desk where they manage to flick the 'on-air' button and their every word is then broadcast Seattle.

The next morning, everyone is dying to know just who 'dirty girl' is, but Kate has some bad news - Frasier is being suspended for a week after the broadcast. She comes round to his apartment later to apologise, but they both end up being trapped in a service lift with a bed, a music box and some musk oil. Will their passion take over again....?

Episode Highlights

- After Frasier says nothing will shift a stain on his shoes, Eddie comes along and licks it:
Frasier: Ah yes, dog saliva - nature's miracle solvent.

- Martin and Deirdre's scene together.

- After people keep thinking he is Floyd, the Happy Chef:
Frasier: I am not the Happy Chef, I am the irritated psychologist Frasier Crane.

- The scene where Frasier and Kate's passion is broadcast, ending with Niles crashing and his airbag inflating.

- The day after the broadcast:
Bulldog: I'm proud of ya, man!
Frasier: Doesn't that put the cherry on the parfait (!)

Niles: It's no picnic for those who share your name. As I left, Maris was ordering new stationery so now it will read: From the desk of Maris Crané.

Frasier Online Episode Review

Concluding the 2 part story arc, this Joe Keenan scripted episode continues the first part's mixture of highly amusing and memorable moments but still not quite adding up to a complete and fulfilling episode. The highlight for me is when Frasier and Kate's passion is accidentally broadcast over the airwaves, which causes Niles to crash his car and his airbag to inflate! However, the episode drags in the second half with the scene that sees Frasier and Kate trapped in a lift with a mattress etc seems way too contrived for my liking. Not the best 2-parter that the series ever produced, but still a worthwhile watch.

The best Kate episode, Sep 17, 2012

Reviewer: Lucy from London

This is one of my favourite episodes! Kelsey Grammer and Mercedes Ruehl look so good together and have great chemistry.

I love it when they are on air and it pans to Niles, Daphne and Martin listening to the radio and seeing the look on their faces!
When Frasier realises they are still on air, he makes things even worse by talking. Stop talking!!!

It was a great scene when Kate goes to visit Frasier at his apartment and Daphne is talking to Eddie getting him ready for his walk...'you bad boy!'

A fun, enjoyable and sassy episode.
